Ecstasy

What is it:

Ecstasy is an illegal drug and it is a stimulant. A user may feel an increase in energy and empathy with others. But it can produce restlessness, anxiety and mild hallucinations.

Effects:

A user could die from taking a single tablet. Ecstasy can cause dehydration, and there is the risk that a user could drink too much water which could cause serious illness or even death.

By becoming overheated and dehydrated through lack of water a user could die. As with any drug you can not always be sure what the tablet contains you are taking and this is the case with ecstasy. The long term effects of taking ecstasy are unknown.
