Leaders
Are you interested in working with Junior and Young People?
Juniors are children of an age group embracing 8-13 years. They are encouraged and gradually trained to take part in and be responsible for their own weekly meeting.
Young Peoples age group embraces the age group 13-21 years. A programme of meetings is drawn up by the members themselves under the guidance of the Society Leader(s). Members are allocated responsibility within each meeting, taking turns to lead, read, pray, sing, give testimony or deliver an address, lead a discussion or Bible study, or whatever else may be included in the programme.
A Leader meets with children to develop their Christian understanding, their ability to excel in a large number of activities and to bring them to a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Friend. If you would like to know more about becoming a leader of a society please contact national headquarters on the contact page.
